Rally For A Sustainable Future

SEPTEMBER 27 | THE 5TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE GLOBAL CLIMATE STRIKE

EVENT DETAILS

On September 27th, 5 years after the global climate strike which saw 10,000+ people taking to Winnipeg streets to call for action, Manitobans will gather at the Legislature to connect with others who are concerned about climate change and call on our provincial government to support good, green jobs amidst a transition away from fossil fuels.

Attendees, including those who participated in the 2019 strike and other concerned citizens, will be invited to send a voicemail to Premier Kinew about their climate concerns from a “Calling for Climate Action” phonebooth.

Free hot beverages and snacks will be available!
